Notary Work Assignments!!!

My job as a notary is to serve the community by notarizing documents as a means of proof to signatures and agreements in transactions. In order for me to get my business in a better position I refuse to take for granted how my assignments are coming in. If the client need assistance early in the morning or the middle of the night, I will make it my business to accommodate their needs. I have heard on many occasions notaries stating if it is a certain time of the night they will not take the job. Well if this is my community and I know the community well, I do not have a problem with the time schedule as long as they are fine with me coming on those hours.   When dealing with closing loan documents one should not always feel that you are being low balled when you always have to opportunity to go into negotiation. Has it been a while since you had a job and you could use the funds? Or, is it you have a fulltime job and this is just a side gig? If this is the case then I resort to my first question, How serious are you about becoming and entrepreneur in this field because there are plenty of clients out there you just have to be a good marketing sport with a great personality. You have to love what you do because if you don’t it will be hard to serve the community in a respectful manner. tackle  

This is not an easy task, but to have the freedom to work on your time and nobody breathing down your neck watching every move you make, now that could be very stressful. If a client was to call me and asked me to do a job and I feel like it’s too low I would probably negotiate the price with them to see if I can get some better terms if not, I would decline but tell them if they would like to renegotiate and can’t find anybody else to perform this job to please feel free to give me a call I would be willing to do it at a reasonable price. This is a type of conversation you would need to have so that you can try to keep generating income as a mobile notary signing agent. I am constantly writing blogs posting on the internet, applying for jobs to work for escrow companies in the meantime I am a middleman for other companies that have work coming to them and which they  pass on to me. This keeps the funds flowing until I can find a reliable real estate agent, escrow company or firm that is willing to take on my work hours. How far are you willing to go to get a job done? Have you priced your time by mileage or have you priced your time by supply usage meaning paper ink gas, facts, and scanning?

You really don’t want to go too high with your prices because you may lose your clients and that person or company may never call you again for work and that’s like throwing money out of the window. Be negotiable, reasonable and no matter how rude they may seem always be polite and say thank you but no thank you. You then have those last-minute jobs when they call you on the same day and would like you to be at a location within 4-5 hours of the time they contacted you this is pretty much where you can negotiate a pretty good price because they need you immediately so be on the lookout for those jobs and be ready for this type of jobs because this is when negotiations are at its best. If you get three or four of those type of jobs a week you can make well over $400 within those three days and I don’t know what job you can go on and make that kind of money unless you are certified in something or you have a degree in something In this field of as a mobile notary signing agent you really just have to get your certification have insurance be prompt,on time most of all be professional and make sure the job is done correctly and you can earn.

For those who have a full-time job and don’t take this job serious enough well I guess it’s just the way you look at it but if you was to lose your job today and try to go full-time with this you will see how much you will be free and how much more time you would have for yourself and your family it really all depends on you and the way you make this work for you.
